This November, CYTO proudly stepped onto the global stage at the Web Summit 2024 in Lisbon, a melting pot of innovation, technology, and forward-thinking entrepreneurship. The Web Summit is renowned for bringing together the brightest minds and cutting-edge solutions to tackle the world’s pressing challenges. For CYTO, this was not just an event; it was a transformational experience that has propelled our mission to new heights.

Our CEO, Joachim Valot, represented CYTO as part of the Angolan Delegation of Startups, alongside seven other trailblazing startups selected to showcase Angola’s vibrant innovation ecosystem. This incredible opportunity was made possible by the support of INAPEM, the IFC, and the European Union, whose backing allowed us to participate in this global gathering. To these partners, we extend our deepest gratitude.

At Web Summit, CYTO had the chance to meet and engage with over 100 partners, clients, and investors from around the world. From engaging in dynamic discussions to forming meaningful connections, the summit opened doors we couldn’t have imagined. We shared our vision of bridging Africa and Europe through our innovative financial services, resonating with people who share our passion for inclusivity and transformation.
